Zofia Malecka

Zofia Malecka, née Chowaniec, age 87, passed away on March 15, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Wladyslaw Malecki, she was a devoted and loving mother to Krzysztof (Urszula) Malecki, Barbara (Wojciech) Kosela, and Henryk (Beata) Malecki. She was a cherished grandmother to Monica (Edward) Verdino, Michal (Paige) Malecki, Mateusz (fiancée Nicole) Malecki, Adam (Rachel) Kosela, Sebastian (Kelsey) Kosela, Sara (Anthony) Niemiec, David Kosela, Patrick Malecki, and Jessica Malecki, and a dearest great-grandmother to three.

Zofia was the cherished daughter of the late Maria (née Martynczak) and the late Jozef Chowaniec, and the fond sister of the late Jozef Chowaniec, the late Krystyna Miskowicz, the late Maria Hurek, and the late Karolina Vargosiova. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends who will remember her warmth and steadfast love for her family.
