Preserve forever →ZOE NICOLE JOHNSON
August 7, 1994— March 7, 2026
Spring Hill, TN
Zoe Nicole Johnson, a devoted mother of three and self-employed business owner, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on August 7, 1994, in Spring Hill, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Candace and Anthony Burton. As a young girl she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Washington Street Baptist Church in Paducah. She most recently attended Mount Zion in Nashville. A proud member of the Spring Hill High School Class of 2012, Zoe carried her vibrant spirit into every chapter of her life.
Known as a true free spirit, Zoe lit up every room she entered and thrived on being the life of the party. She loved to travel and held Turks and Caicos as her favorite destination, visiting so often that locals greeted her by name. Fashion was her passion; she dressed with care and turned heads with her natural beauty. Yet her greatest love was her family. A devoted daddy’s girl, she cherished her three children above all and took genuine delight in spoiling not only her own but other people’s children as well. She enjoyed board games, lively rounds of Spades, and dining at her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden.
Zoe had recently earned her real estate license and was excited to begin this new venture. She owned two small businesses, Foreverplay TN Softplay Rentals and The Stitch Lab, an embroidery company she had just launched.
She leaves behind her three children, Haizel Chanel Mason and Zai Shaquille Mason of Franklin, Tennessee; their father, Shaquille Mason; and Navey Kyrie Carter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, son of Roshod Carter. She is also survived by her parents, Anthony Burton and Candace Johnson Burton of Spring Hill, Tennessee; her siblings, Xavier Bacon of Prattville, Alabama, Quin Rowland of Mayfield, Kentucky, Khloe Burton of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Monique Taylor and Antoinette Youngblood of Union City, Tennessee, Shaundra Guthrie of Fulton, Kentucky, Tyrin McCauley of Paducah, Kentucky, and Brandi McDonald of Paris, Tennessee; Isaac Bonds and Jakari Garnett, brothers, and Tianna Garnett, sister, all of Paducah; her paternal grandmother, Teresa Burton of Fulton, Kentucky; her maternal grandparents, Winfred and Sharon Nunn of Paducah, Kentucky; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Kenny Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Laverne and Rosemary Winmon; and her paternal great-grandmother, Alice Burton.
Zoe will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who loved her.
