Zane Kracht ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Fremont Funeral Chapel on Mar. 6, 2026.Sigourney. Zane David Wade Kracht completed his life on earth on March 3, 2026. Zane was born on January 6, 1999, to Bobbie Jo Wade. He and Bobbie were joined by Neil Kracht and became a family of 3 in 2002. Zane was blessed with two younger brothers, Adryan and Seth. Zane was the leader of the pack, and taught his brothers many life lessons, some good, and some…not so much. He taught them how to battle their way through the most difficult times in life head on, and with the strength of warriors. Zane loved his mama fiercely and instilled the importance of this love to his brothers and closest friends. He was never afraid to say, "Love You Later".Zane grew up as a country kid and loved all things a country kid does. He enjoyed fishing, long boarding, camping, playing soccer (7 years undefeated), cruising, and being on the river with his boat. Zane graduated from Sigourney Schools in 2017, and joined the workforce, doing various jobs including framing and most recently he worked at Weiler, as a machinist.Zane had many friends and was the life of the party. Most weekends he could be found hanging with his brothers or the friends he called brothers. While Zane knew how to have a good time, he also knew that the most important things in life were family, friends, and faith in something bigger than all of us.Zane met the love of his life, Katie, in 2025. He especially enjoyed spending time with Katie's son Tate and was looking forward to building their life together as a family of three, along with his beautiful German Shepard, Miya.Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Be The Light Church in Sigourney, Iowa with Pastor Jackie Jarmes officiating. As was Zane's wish his body will be cremated following the funeral ceremony. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation with the family present will be held Monday at the Be The Light Church from 2-5 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
