Yvonne L. Gingrich

Yvonne L. (Fetter) Gingrich, 73, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Dorothy E. (Stewart) Fetter. She was the loving wife of 40 years to the late Oliver G. “Ollie” Gingrich, who passed in 2016.

Yvonne worked as a quality assurance agent with Donegal Mutual Insurance of Marietta. She also worked as a secretary for an attorney and for Delmarva Millwork, and as a kindergarten aid at Riverview Elementary. Yvonne was very crafty, enjoying macrame and crochet. She could often be found reading, especially James Patterson. Above all, Yvonne was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, who loved spending time with her family and her grandpuppies.

She is survived by two children, Andrew B. Gingrich (Julie) and Jennifer E. Squibbs (Benjamin); three grandchildren, Jocelyn Squibbs, Logan Gingrich, and Sophia Gingrich; her brother, James H. Fetter; her brother-in-law, Rodney Gingrich; her cousin, Karen Fetterman; two nieces, Linda Reed, and Deb Foultz; her cat, Oscar; and lifelong best friend, Sandy Murphy. She is preceded in death by her brother, Gerald E. Fetter; and her cat, Charlie; along with her husband and parents.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
