Yuridia Acosta Galindo

Yuridia "Yuri" Galindo passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 44 in Odessa, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 16, 1981, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, to the late Jesus Acosta and Maria del Socorro Fierro Acosta. After her mother’s untimely passing, Yuri was lovingly raised by her great-grandmother, Maria Fierro Lujan, who became a second mother to her and helped shape the woman of strength and compassion she would become.

Yuri was a devoted wife to Adolfo Galindo and a loving mother to Ashley, Yuliana, and Adolfo Jr. She was a proud grandmother to Mateo Galindo, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her brother Jesus Acosta and sister-in-law Nataly Galindo and their children Leilani and Lexi Acosta, as well as her sister Lupita Fierro, brother-in-law Humberto Melendez, and their children Hector, Karina, and Noelia Melendez.

Yuri faced life’s challenges with grace, courage, and a warm smile that lifted those around her. Her deep love for her family was the guiding force in her life, and her gentle guidance, laughter, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the beautiful way she touched the lives of those she loved.
