Yolonda Michelle "Mitchell" Jackson

Yolonda Michelle Mitchell-Jackson was born on December 26, 1974, in Eufaula, Alabama, to Michael Carl Mitchell and Dorothy Lou Anderson-Mitchell. She departed this life on March 7, 2026, at Medical Center Barbour.

She accepted Christ at an early age at New Birth, where she sang in the choir and worked with the youth. Yolonda graduated from the Eufaula City School System and was last employed at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula. Those who knew her will remember her as a sweet person and a devoted mother who deeply loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Dorothy Mitchell. Yolonda leaves to cherish her memory her children, Martavious, Maniya, Alonna, and Keyonna of Eufaula; her devoted sister, Lagina Anderson of Eufaula; her sister, Lorraine Hollins of Eufaula; her aunts, Juanita Green and Linda Green of Eufaula; her uncle, Cecil Mitchell of Eufaula; her special friend, Lenton Wilburn of Eufaula; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
