Yolanda A. Douglas

Yolanda A. Douglas, 51, a lifelong resident of Albany, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Kimble-Miller. A graduate of Albany High School, Yolanda also attended Herkimer Community College. She grew up attending services at Union Missionary Baptist Church with her grandmother, Inez Bosh, every Sunday, where she developed a deep and lasting love for Gospel Music.

Yolanda is survived by her two brothers, Willie A. Miller (Nicola) and Michael J. Miller, along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her life was rooted in the city she called home and the family and faith that shaped her.
