Seagreaves, 98, of Allentown, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George F. Seagreaves, Jr., who passed in 2014. Born in Yamato, Japan, Yachiyo was the daughter of the late Tsuya (Ariyania) and Otto Hirose. She was a member of First Baptist Church Allentown and was employed as a seamstress at various Lehigh Valley garment manufacturers. Yachi enjoyed gardening, sewing and attending the musical performances of Tom Jones and Rod Stewart. She dedicated her life to caring for and supporting her children and grandchildren, always offering unconditional love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.Survivors: son, Peter G. and wife, Deborah J.; daughters, Rosemary A. Tukeva, Karen K. Newell and husband, Thomas; brother, Tsutomo, Japan; daughter-in-law, Judith A.; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Kenneth F., granddaughter, Jana E., son-in-law, Edward, and brothers, Masa Yoshi and Akidai.Services: Private.
