He was born in Saigon, Vietnam on November 2, 1948 to the late Duong Van Vu and Dinh Thi Ta.Xuan had many interest's but especially loved fixing lawn mowers and going to the Flee Markets.Xuan is survived by his wife, Hue Mai Vu; sons, Sonny Vu (Lihn Tran), Long Vu, David Vu; daughters, Quynh Vu, Mai Vu, Anh Vu (Liem Phan), Lan Vu (David Pham); and grandchildren, Trang Vu & Andy Ong, Tommy Vu, Tyffany Vu, Aiden Vu, Steven Vu, Kevin Vu, Katelyn Vu, Ryan Vu, Dylan Pham, Aaron Pham, Matthew Phan, Mekenzie Phan, Quynh ngo.A funeral service will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Smithfield on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm.There will be a time for family and friends to gather from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Smithfield at 4057 US Highway 70 Bus W., Clayton, NC 27520.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.caseyfh.com.Casey Funeral Home and Cremations is honored to serve the Vu FamilyTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
