Huntsville, AR
Wyatt Lee Dickey, 17, of Huntsville, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on August 8, 2008, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Terry and Gina Dickey, Wyatt was a junior at Huntsville High School. He excelled academically and proudly served as Captain of the Huntsville High School Quiz Bowl Team, with aspirations of attending West Point. A devoted member of the Key Club, Eagle Media, and the City of Huntsville’s Youth Council, he was respected by his peers as a natural leader in the council’s inaugural group. He was also an avid outdoorsman.
Wyatt found his greatest joy in fly fishing with his father, Terry, and hiking with his mother, Gina. He was a proud big brother to Claire, and the two shared cherished moments jamming to music during their car rides home from school. He loved hunting, camping, rock and knife collecting, wood burning, flint knapping, and tying flies. As a young boy, he played baseball from the age of four. Above all, he cherished music and time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Peggy and Leslie Wyrick, great-grandparents Don and Ann Dickey, and uncles Russ and Davey Wyrick.
Wyatt is survived by his parents, Terry and Gina Dickey, and his sister, Claire Dickey, all of the home; his grandparents Danny and Margaret Dickey of Rogers, Arkansas; his uncles and aunts Jeff and Carrie Dickey of Exeter, Missouri, Mitch and Linda Wyrick of Huntsville, and Corky and Carla Wyrick of Canyon Lake, California; his cousins Elizabeth Dickey, Jaimie Dickey, Raelyn Wyrick, Jamie Wyrick, Erik Wyrick, and Scott Eden; and his cat. He leaves behind a wide circle of friends who will carry his memory forward.
