Born on January 21, 1933, in Norfolk, VA, Worth lived a full and remarkable life filled with love, dedication, and service.A devoted longshoreman, Worth dedicated 32 years to a career that he took great pride in, embodying the values of hard work and perseverance. Beyond his professional life, Worth was an avid golfer who found joy on the greens, and a die-hard Washington Redskins fan, loyally supporting his team through both victories and defeats. His greatest passion, however, was his family; he loved his children deeply and took immense pleasure in spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Worth pursued higher education at Louisiana State University for two years, and he was a respected member of the Knights of Pythias lodge, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to his community.Worth was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jeanne M. Heath, his father, Worth B. Heath Sr., his daughter, Wanda H. Tomaselli, and his brother, Eugene Heath. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 75 years, Patricia C. Heath, who resides in their home. He is also survived by his daughter, Debbie Williams of Virginia Beach, VA, and his son, Michael Heath (Rena) of Virginia Beach, VA. Worth's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Bryan Williams, Michelle Maguire, Wesley Heath, Corey Crouch, Michael Heath Jr., Courtney Brennaman, and Christina Tomaselli, as well as his great-grandchildren, Alexis Williams, Alana Williams, Aislyn Hulak, Ryder Maguire, Jeffrey Brennaman, Nathan Brennaman, Rhilyne Heath, Braydon Heath, Ethan Lay, and Violet Delanie.Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 11 AM to 12 noon at Altmeyer Funeral Home - Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon, with a reception immediately afterward.
