Woodward Mullet ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. - Charlotte Hall on Mar. 14, 2026.Woodward "Woody" James Mullet, of Waldorf, MD, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026.Woody was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Mullet; his father, George Mullet; his brother, Jon Mullet; his sister, Barbara Nurre; and his son-in-law, Anthony Pirrone. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Mullet; his daughters, Traci Pirrone and Karen Vennemann (John Vennemann); his sister, Ardelle Woodring; his grandchildren, James Pirrone, Drew Vennemann, Taylor Vennemann, Jonathan Pirrone (Elizabeth), Justin Pirrone, and his great-grandson, Kasey; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.Above all else, Woody's family held the most important place in his heart. Their love, courage, and support were always on his mind, and he was endlessly proud of them. He loved a good party, good food, music, and spending time with friends, and his annual gatherings were always filled with laughter and open doors.Throughout his life, Woody was known for his strong work ethic, curiosity, and belief that a positive attitude could overcome anything. He took pride in every aspect of his career, from building his own business to Engineering consulting, but he was especially proud of the work he did on the Phoenix Project, helping rebuild the Pentagon following the September 11 attacks.Woody enjoyed working outdoors, coin collecting, and refurbishing and restoring antiques; his most recent project was restoring a cabinet that belonged to his grandmother. He loved taking on challenges and always found satisfaction in figuring things out.Woody will be remembered for his love of family, determination, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.The family will receive friends for the visitation on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the service beginning at 6:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Joe Orlando at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
