Woodson Walter McAllister Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Woodson Walter McAllister Sr. of Chittenango, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin McAllister and Mary McAllister; his spouse Linden Russett; and his children, Mark McAllister and Margaret Davis.

He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Gibbons, Debra Stafford (Steven) and Woodson McAllister Jr. (Dale); his stepchildren, Alton Stone, Leila Lindsley, Lanita Wilson and Joseph Stone; and his sisters, Genevieve Lewis and Thelma Grems. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
