In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wilma had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Wilma may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Watson and Faye Watson (Hendricks); her husband Joe Saunders; and her brothers, Melvin Watson, George A. Watson and Otis Watson.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Martineau (Larry), Lloyd Saunders, Thomas Saunders (Rhonda) and Carol Witt; and her sister Rosa Lee Dodd. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2602 W Beebe Capps Expy, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
