He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Calvin and Jewel Irene Fielder Larkins; and his sister Mary Lou Larkins Brown. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Sullivan Larkins of White Bluff, TN; and his children, Melissa Gale Larkins of Bentonville, AR, James W. Larkins of Nashville, TN and Jason Sullivan Larkins (Leslie) of Nashville, TN..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055).

Those desiring memorials are suggested to Camp Leatherwood or to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
