Funeral Services for Willie Ray Rigdon will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Joel Embrey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service.
Willie Ray Rigdon, 89, passed away on March 15, 2026 at his home in Little Rock, MS.
Willie was born to Virgil and Madie Rigdon and was raised in the Little Rock Community. He attended House Academy. He enjoyed golf when he was able, and enjoyed softball in his early years. He was widely known in high school as a good baseball player, he even played semi-pro. He was employed with MDOT as a supervisor and later retired from Peavey Electronics. Willie was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was loved by his family and will be surely missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Tawanna Holmes; sons, Tommy Rigdon (Teresa), Virgil Rigdon; grandchildren, Zachary Rigdon (Christie), Corey Rigdon (Lindsey), Jacob Norris, Caleb Gambill, Sam Gambill, Brandi Gambill and Kristen Hayes (Mike); great grandchildren, Olivia Hayes, Gunner Rigdon, Rider Rigdon, Hadley Norris, Wyatt Norris, Paisley Rigdon, Landon Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson, Addison Ferguson and Walker Ramage.
Willie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilda Rigdon; parents Virgil and Madie Partridge Rigdon.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Butler, David Butler, Dewayne Butler, Stanley Covington, Robert Covington, and Jimmy Rigdon.
