Willie Ray Creech

Willie Ray Creech, age 91, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on June 5, 1934, in Geneva County, Alabama, he was the son of the late Connie and Fannie Pearl (Willis) Creech. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Simmons) Creech, and two sisters, Earnestine Spivey and Voncile Barnes.

Willie retired after many years of service in Grounds Maintenance at Disney. He found great joy in caring for his yard, where he maintained the highest standards of neatness, ensuring every leaf was raked and bagged and no stray paper or debris remained. A longtime resident of Florida, he was a faithful member of Eastside Assembly of God Church in Winter Haven.

He is survived by his children, Linda Herstine of Lake Hamilton, Bobby Creech of Lake Alfred, and Ray Neal Creech of Dundee; six siblings, Betty Creech, Ruby Simmons, V.J. Creech, Delores Owens, Debbie Owens, and Douglas Creech; grandchildren Linette, Kyleigh, Jeremiah, Joel, and Mariah; and great-grandchildren Kodi, Zane, Ivery, Elyana, Hanna, and Jason.
