Willie Dismuke, Jr.

Willie Dismuke, Jr., 90, of Canton, Mississippi, formerly of Louisville, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at his home. Born on July 19, 1935, in Winston County, Mississippi, he was the son of Willie Dismuke and Henrietta Cooper Dismuke.

A devoted family man, Willie cherished his wife, Linda Dismuke, and took great pride in his children: Stacy Dismuke, Neah Dismuke, Kim Howze, Lakeisha Wolf, Jessica Overstreet, and Jeffery Overstreet. He was blessed with grandchildren Kallion Nicole Dismuke, Rashida Dye, Ross Dye Jr., LeRyan Wolf, Jamya Overstreet, and Macie Overstreet. He is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Christine Hilliard; bonus daughter, Thomasine Norfleet; nieces Shuntel Hilliard and Keoka Hilliard; nine great-nephews; and a host of other relatives who were an important part of his life.

Willie’s quiet strength and deep love for his family defined his long and meaningful life. He will be remembered with warmth and gratitude by all who knew him.
