William Seitz ObituaryVisit the Busch Funeral and Crematory Services - Parma (South) website to view the full obituary.William U. Seitz, age 88, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026.Cherished husband of 56 years of the late Barbara E. (nee Lang); devoted father of William M. (Kathleen M.), Ronald C. (Janine P.), and Robert B. (Sandra L.); beloved grandfather of Taryn M. Krupa (Greg), Brian W. (April), Ronald R. (Halle), Ciara C. Thomas (Andrew), Dean U. (Stephanie), Dylan G. (Jaclyn), Robert B. II (Heather), and Amanda L. Hurst (Nicholas); dearest great-grandfather of 11; treasured son of the late Charles and Louise (nee Waschnig); dear brother of Charles (Rosie); cousin of Bobby Seitz; and longtime friend of Mike Surdy.William was a skilled carpenter and founded Seitz Builders in 1962, which became a true family business as each of his sons joined him.He also cherished spending time at his farm in Ashland, where he could enjoy escaping the challenges of business, mowing the grass on a tractor. He and his wife also owned horses and enjoyed spending time together caring for them and riding around the farm.William also liked the solitude of snow skiing and snow boarding, even traveling to Austria, where the Seitz family was originally from, to ski the slopes of the Alps! He also loved the freedom of the open skies, earning a pilot's license and acquiring both a twin engine King Air and T34 Navy trainer which brought him great joy over the years and was also something he shared with his sons. While William was a man who could be rather reserved and enjoyed his solitude, he also formed a tightly knit circle of family and close friends around him. They knew him as not just a hard worker, but as a man with a great sense of humor as well as someone who cherished life, especially the simplicity and peace of open fields and the wonder and thrill of soaring through the sky, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him!Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.A service to honor William's life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.440-842-7800 www.buschcares.comRead The Full Obituary
