William Thomas Jones, of East Windsor, NJ died at his home on March 7, 2026. He was 53 years old.Born in Trenton, NJ, Bill grew up in Mercerville, NJ. He was a graduate of Nottingham High School and Mercer County Community College. He most recently worked in the produce department at Whole Foods in Princeton. Previously he worked at the Super Fresh in West Windsor.Bill loved the outdoors, long walks in the woods and just being in nature. The Delaware Water Gap region was a favored camping area for Bill. He was an animal lover. He was a gentle, caring soul and a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. He always looked forward to the annual extended family vacation in Wildwood. Bill was also a professional hockey fan and always rooted for the Toronto Maple Leafs.Bill is survived by his mother Helen Tobin Honn of East Windsor, NJ; his father Robert R. Jones and his wife Beverly A. of Hamilton, NJ; his sisters and their husbands Deanna and Kevin Hutson of Brick, NJ and Roberta and Gary Ridge of Hamilton, NJ; his nieces and nephews Kevin Hutson and his wife Kourtney of Mt. Airy, MD and their children Henry and Savannah; Jessica Ridge of Warminster, PA; Brandi Hutson of Brick, NJ; Caleigh Ridge of Hamilton, NJ and Jared Hutson of Brick, NJ. Bill is also survived by his long-time friend Lisa Giffin and her husband Jason Cremer of Hamilton.Funeral services will be private.A Celebration of Bill's life is being planned for a future date.Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Alliance of NJ, 1432, Route 179, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (info@animalalliancenj.org)
