William Thomas Cribb

William Thomas Cribb, age 79, of Laurinburg, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at his residence.

Born on January 26, 1947, in Robeson County, North Carolina, William was the son of the late William Hillie and Myrtle Benson Cribb. He spent many quiet hours enjoying television, particularly game shows and soap operas, finding simple pleasure in the routines of daily life.

He is survived by his brothers, Gilbert Cribb (Dorrell) of Maxton and Charles Cribb (Elizabeth) of Sanford, Florida; his sister, Linda Faye Tatum of Kodak, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Wanda Monley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Hunt, and his sister, Judy Whistnant.

William will be remembered as a man who valued family and the comfort of familiar things, leaving behind loved ones who will carry his memory with affection and respect.
