He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Johnson and Lily Johnson Sr. (Robinson); his brothers, Raymond Johnson Jr., Richard Johnson and Carl Johnson; and his aunts, Anne Lamoureux and Vera Eid.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Johnson of Hartland; his siblings, Karen Pett of Warwick, RI, Margaret Brooks of Warwick, RI, Daniel Johnson (Dee) of Warwick, RI, Anne Csizmesia of Warwick, RI and Sam Johnson (Pam) of Jacksonville, NC; his in-laws, Ronald and Lottie Lyford; and his brother-in-law Roger Lyford (Dawn Marie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
