He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hoppe and Veronica Hoppe (Farrell); his wife Marian E. Hoppe (Lopriore); and his brother Thomas Hoppe. He is survived by: his son Michael Hoppe (Nilda) of Millcreek; his brother Jim Hoppe of Harborcreek; his grandchildren, Nathanael, Gabriel, Caleb and Asher; and his nieces, Nadine and Brenda.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Church (5145 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
