William P. Jackson, born on July 28, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky. A devoted family man and proud Army veteran, William served his country with honor during the Gulf War and Desert Storm. His courage and dedication shaped a life marked by service, kindness, and a deep commitment to those around him.

Beyond his military years, William’s influence extended through his community and family. A passionate baseball enthusiast, he found great joy in coaching his children and young players in the community. His steady encouragement and support served as a constant source of strength for his loved ones, both on the field and in everyday life.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Hyon Jackson (née Chong), who stood by his side through every chapter of life. He is also mourned by his devoted daughter, Kimberly (Chris) McCoy; his son, Joshua (Amanda) Jackson; and his cherished granddaughter, Kherington McCoy. William is remembered fondly by his uncle, Doug (Barbara) Jackson, along with many other family members and friends who were privileged to know him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jackson. William P. Jackson’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed, yet the memories he created will continue to inspire all who shared in his life.
