Apopka, FL
William Blakeslee, known affectionately as Bill, graduated from Corry High School in the Class of 1977. On his 21st birthday, he moved to Florida, where he built a long and successful career in automotive repair and body shop services. He took great pride in his work, approaching every project with a keen eye for detail and a genuine desire to help others.
Bill cherished time spent with family and friends. He found joy in his RC vehicle racing hobby, serving others, and caring for pets and animals. Although he never had children of his own, he was a loving and attentive grandfather figure to his partner’s grandchildren, Maxim and Conor. Those who knew him will remember him as a truly good neighbor and friend—easy-going, pleasant, kind, and deeply loving.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Deborah Dawn. He is survived by his partner, Olga Abbott of Casselberry, Florida; his sister, Becky (Randall) Messinger of Bear Lake, Pennsylvania; nephews Jeremy and Trevor; niece Karissa; and four great-nieces and nephews.
