William M. Pawlin, born February 15, 1954, in Ludlow to the late Steve and Rose (Lisiewicz) Pawlin, passed away on March 10, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
After completing his education in Ludlow, Bill proudly enlisted in the United States Army. He carried his status as a veteran with quiet pride throughout his life. He worked for many years as a truck driver before retiring and later found joy in serving as an usher at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield. Bill was a warm and loving man who cherished being around people and pets of all ages. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Boston teams, and enjoyed classic westerns. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family, especially in the company of his beloved mother-in-law, Virginia Pallota.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna; his loving children, Angela Pawlin and Danny (Adara) Wilkins; his cherished grandson, Gavin; his siblings, Robert (Sue) Pawlin and Cheryl (Sue) Pawlin; and a small extended family along with many dear friends. Bill loved his family, his friends, and his faithful companion Bear unconditionally and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
