William Larry Etheredge

William Larry Etheredge, age 78, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Born on May 15, 1947, in Ozark, Alabama, to the late William Nathan Etheredge and Elloise Andrews Etheredge, Larry proudly served in the United States National Guard and later owned and operated Larry’s Nursery. He found great joy in the outdoors and was an avid bass fisherman.

Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Evelyn Crane and her husband Don Crane, Larry is survived by his loving wife, Rita Etheredge; his children, Greg Etheredge (Lindsey), Michelle Huff (Brad), and Cherie Etheredge; his siblings, Dennis Etheredge (Donna), Cindy Lucas (Rick), and Tammy Riley; his grandchildren, Sydney Batson, Connor Huff, Caeden Crow, and Carley Crow; and his great-grandchildren, Ellisyn, Dawson, and Hayes.

He will be laid to rest at Sylvester Robbins Cemetery in Monroe, Tennessee. A local celebration of life for his friends in Clarksville will be held at a later date.
