He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. King and Jeannetta King (Isley); his son Chris King; and his brother John King. He is survived by: his wife Patty King (Eades); his daughters, Tanya and Nancy M. King; his granddaughters, Cheecoawa Withrow and Kristina; and his brother Arther King. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (201 N Lafayette St, Cloverdale, IN 46120). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
