William Kenneth McAllister

William Kenneth McAllister, 96, of Salisbury, formerly of Fruitland, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on December 12, 1929, in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Omar and Natalie McAllister. He was married to Virginia Luckado for 62 years before she passed away in 2013.

Kenny graduated from Wicomico High School in 1946 and served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1952. He worked for Wayne Pump and then at Callaway Typewriter from 1954 until his retirement in 1992. In retirement, he enjoyed working part time at Ace Hardware. A lifetime member of BPOE Elks Lodge #817 and a longtime member of the American Legion and the Fruitland Redmen’s Lodge, he was also a member of St. John’s Church in Fruitland. He found great pleasure in golfing, swimming at the YMCA pool, and traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Wisner, and her husband Eric; two granddaughters, Melissa Revel and Jennifer Jones; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four siblings, Betty Hawkins, Ann Malone, Robert McAllister, and Geraldine Renn.
