William Kennedy, known affectionately as Bill, died on March 12, 2026, at the age of 82 at Eventide Special Care Unit in Jamestown, North Dakota, after living with vascular dementia.
A longtime resident of Jamestown, Bill enjoyed a distinguished career as the Director of Fashion for Bloomingdale’s and Dayton department stores, where his keen eye and creative vision shaped trends for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, and their children, Colin and Shannon Kennedy.
His family will always remember the grace, warmth, and quiet strength he brought to their lives.
