Married to Barbara Batdorf Sutton in 1954 and father to Mary Sutton Doerchener (Glenn) William Sutton ( Juile) and Sheila Sutton Olesen (Jake). Bill loved all sports, especially those of his grandchildren: Grace, Ella, Hope, Sutton, Victor, Caroline, Jack, and Charlie. Bill could be found at Mr. Donut, Buzzy's Pizza, Adam's Ribs and caring for his lawn. Bill was a proud Veteran of the Korean War.Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10-11 am and 12-1 pm. A Catholic prayer service will begin at 11 am for those who wish to attend. A private family burial at Maryland's Veteran Cemetery Crownsville will follow.
