Loving father of James (Jacqui) Ranko, Ken (Alyssa) Ranko, and Dawn (James) Iddon; Grandfather of Michael Ranko, Jillian Ranko, Jessica Ranko, Savannah Iddon, Harlow Iddon, and Fletcher Iddon; Brother of MaryAnn Wrobleski and George Abaray; Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ranko and his brothers, John and Elmer Ranko.Bill was a devoted father, proud grandfather, loyal friend and respected businessman whose life was defined by generosity, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. As the owner of a successful business, he built more than a company- he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of his community through hard work, honesty and determination. But those who knew him best will remember him not for his accomplishments but for the kind of man he was. Bill had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome. He was endlessly generous with his time, always ready to lend a helping hand, and would do anything for his friends. His quick wit and constant supply of jokes meant there was rarely a moment without laughter when he was around. Bill leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, humor, and love. The stories, laughter and lessons he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many friends whose lives he touched.Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:00-11:30 a.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
