William J. Lutz

William J. “Bill” Lutz, 70, of Wampum, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Covington Place in East Palestine after a one-year illness.

Born on January 10, 1956, in New Castle, Bill was the son of the late William D. and Alberta J. Moore Lutz. He shared 45 years of marriage with his wife, Connie J. McKinney Lutz, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2021.

Bill retired from Cemex in 2020 after more than 30 years in maintenance. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and taking long walks with his dog Tucker. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Brandie (Bill) Butler and Kara Lutz, both of Wampum; sisters Georgia (Steve) Biega, Brenda (Leslie) Herb, and Kimberly (Robert) Feezle; brother Bryan D. (Linda) Lutz; brother-in-law Kevin Arbogast; and his loyal dog Tucker. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sharon Arbogast on March 26, 2023.
