He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Pauline (Knarzer). He is survived by: his wife Reda (Sharp); his sons, Aaron (Stef) and Shane Nester; his grandchildren, Kyle and Emily; and his brothers, Robert Nester and Don Nester (Betty).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Christopher Catholic Church (5301 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
