Vick Funeral Home, Inc. - Mount Clemens on Mar. 17, 2026.In Loving Memory of William (Bill) Irven Bott, age 89, of Macomb Township, who passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, MI. He was born to Irven and Genevieve (Pasinski) Bott on March 26, 1936, in Detroit, MI.He married the love of his life, Suzann Miller, on August 17, 1957, at St. Clement Catholic Church. They celebrated 58 years of marriage. Together they raised 5 children and spent many family vacations camping together.Bill had a passion for all things involving sports. He enjoyed being the little league coach and softball coach for his children. He was involved in many golf and bowling leagues. He loved rooting for the underdog team. He found joy in playing cards and frequently played at the New Baltimore Civic Center and the VFW Hall in Algonac, MI. Spending time with his family and grandchildren gave him great enjoyment.He retired from ACAR Broach after 42 years of service. He was a volunteer for the Goodfellows and Immaculate Conception Church.He will be greatly missed by his children and their spouses. Gary (Sue) Bott, Diana (Michele Morisett) Bott, Michael (Ginger) Bott, Larry (Denise) Bott, and Lori (Scott) Kerr, and his sister Deborah James.His beloved grandchildren, Steven (Kellie) Bott, Nathan Bott, Jennifer (Ronald) Jones, Katie (Michael) DeGain, Bryan (Brittany) Bott, Jeremy (Heather) Bott, Geena (Mitchell) Joa, Brandon (Diana) Bott, Angee (Thaddeus) Dudick, Tom (Audrie) Mullin and Jamie (Ray) Oliver who will always remember they were ALL #1 in his book and 19 great grandchildren. They will always remember his "inch me and pinch me" joke.He also had many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents and a sister Lorraine (Joseph) Renkowski.A Memorial Service for William will be held on April 02, 2026 with visitation from 2-8 p.m. and a service starting at 7p.m. at Harold W Vick Funeral Home, 140 S. Main Street, Mt. Clemens, MI.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Henry Ford Hospital, Game on Cancer Program honoring William's dedication to the fight against cancer or to a charity of your choice.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
