William R. Glenn was born to Ira and Velma Glenn on April 9, 1950, and passed away on March 9, 2026. A lifelong mechanic, he took great pride in his craft and found deep enjoyment in hunting and fishing. He served in the U.S. Marines as a tank mechanic from 1968 to 1969, was wounded in Vietnam on March 9, 1969, and received a medical discharge that September. After his military service, he worked for Datsun and the City of Willcox before joining his father’s mechanic shop, where he remained for the rest of his career.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Glenn; his children, William I. Glenn (Anda), Kittie M. Glenn, Tammy J. Catterson (Chris), and Amanda S. Strauch (Darien); eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. At his request, no services will be held.
