William Glen Lands, age 85, of Section, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
A lifelong resident of the area, Mr. Lands was known for his quiet strength and steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew him. He shared a close bond with his brother Gurlon and took great joy in his many nieces and nephews, who will remember him with deep affection.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Evon Lands; his father, Rance L. Lands; his mother, Zelmar Frances Farmer Lands; his brothers, Mervil, Ray, Edward, Buster, and Herman Lands; and his sisters, Ludie Hill and Betty Furgerson.
He leaves behind a family that will cherish the memories of his life and the love he quietly gave throughout the years.
