William George Dale

William George “Bill” Dale, 88, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on March 9, 2026, at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Born on July 21, 1937, in Krebs, Oklahoma, to Frank Dale and Theresa (Ansier) Dale-Smartt, Bill spent more than 25 years as a postal clerk at the McAlester Post Office, retiring in 1996. He was known for his steady presence and quiet dedication to his work and family.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Linda Wallace; grandchildren, Meagan Waymire and Jonathon Wallace; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubree, and Maverick; his sister, Pat Nickerson; and his niece, Lisa Nash. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Josh Cirar, and his daughter, Sheila Adamo.
