Baker, age 68, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.William was born January 15, 1958, in Riverside, CA, to the late Gerald Andrew Baker and the late Kathrine Ann Harris. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Katherine McConell, and three siblings, Gerald Baker Cheryl Guberman, and Jimmy Baker.He is survived by his wife Cindy Baker of 47 years, and three children, Adriane Lyons (Mark), Jennifer Baker-Meyer (Jason), Michelle Baker; grandchildren, Angela Baker, Billy Lyons (Skye), Jacob Lyons, Danny Lyons, Kaylyn Amundson (Michael), Shelby Burton, Sabrina Burton, and Liam Baker; great-grandchildren, Adaline Amundson, Journey Lyons, Isla Amundson, Kaulder McCormack, Gracie Lyons; five siblings, Susie Adams, Chuck Baker, Leslie Baker, David Baker, and Timmy Baker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.William proudly served in the United States Navy and worked as a mechanic for The Medical Center in Bowling Green for 23 years before retiring.Some of his most favorite things were fishing and watching Nascar. Above all, his most prized possessions were his grandchildren. William was a family man and loved them deeply.The family has entrusted J.C.
