It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gaskin Sr. of London, Kentucky, born in Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee Gaskin and Lucy Ovalene Ford Gaskin; and his siblings, Evelyn of Indianapolis, Indiana., Maxine of Indianapolis, Indiana., Willie Lee of Indianapolis, Indiana. and Fred of Indianapolis, Indiana..

He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Roark Gaskin; and his children, Vanessa Campbell (Butch) of Gray, Vonell Beach (Robert) of London, William Charlie Gaskin, Jr. (Cindy) of London, Wayne Gaskin (Jeannette) of London, Rosemary Batshe' (Michael) of Lily, Rebecca Cathers (Derrick) of East Bernstadt, Abigail Gaskin (Brad) of Louisville and Vonetta Gaskin (Jason) of Brodhead. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741).
