William Francis Dorey

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78, William Francis Dorey of Greenville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Francis Dorey to pay them a last tribute.

Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parent Francis Ware Dorey. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Sutton Dorey; his son William Bryon Dorey (Beverly Jones Dorey); and his grandchildren, Gareth of Wilmington, NC. and Briley of Wilmington, NC.. He is also survived by friends and neighbors along with his cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the People's Baptist Church (1621 Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
