William F. Spadea

William Spadea, 79, of Bridgewater, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Brockton, Massachusetts.

William was a passionate and skilled poker player who competed in the World Series of Poker, bringing the same dedication to the game he loved throughout his life. Poker remained a cherished hobby that brought him great joy and lasting camaraderie with friends. He also held a deep passion for travel, eagerly exploring new places and experiences whenever he could.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Chiappini-Spadia; his children, Julie Bertolini and her husband Cameron, Steven Spadea, Scott Spadea, Samual Suttmeier, and Shawn Bartlett; his son-in-law; five cherished grandchildren; four stepchildren; two step-grandchildren; and many siblings, in-laws, and friends who will remember him fondly. William was predeceased by his daughter Samantha Bartlett and his son William Spadea Jr.

His legacy as an avid poker player and enthusiastic traveler will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
