William Earl Daniel, 81, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2026, at Itasca Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.He was born December 13, 1944, in Hill County, to Clarence David and Ollie Jean (Moore) William. William graduated from Itasca High School in 1963. He then attended East Texas State University, where he received a bachelors degree in science and math and later received his master's degree in school administration in 1977 at Texas A & M University, Kingsville. William married Linda Wall on August 26, 1963, in Dallas.William started his teaching career in 1967 in San Benito, Texas then taught in Itasca until 1996. He enjoyed woodworking, watching football, and going on cruises where he was able to see the world.He is preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; three brothers; and his son-in-law, Jim Reaves. William is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Bryan Daniel and wife, Tamara; his daughter, Glynis Reaves; his granddaughters, Emily Daniel and Elizabeth Daniel; his sisters, Sylvia Wallace, Inez Kerby, Edith Minor and Patricia McClendon; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Healthcare of Texas Providence Hospice, 6100 Western Place, Suite 105, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
