He was born in St. Louis, MO and died in Dallas, TX.Bill was employed by AT&T for 33 years where he excelled in every position he held. As Communications Manager, his greatest professional accomplishment was managing communications between NASA and the communication industry for the first space launch at the Space Center in Houston. Colleagues remember him as a quiet intelligent man with a dry wit, a mentor who led by example and inspired those around him to strive for excellence in all they did. His personal motto was "Bloom where you are planted."Bill had many interests. He was a sports enthusiast, avid fisherman, excellent cook, a lifelong reader and learner. He enjoyed traveling; his favorite overseas destination was Egypt. He and wife, Sue, RVed fulltime for ten years, visiting all the contiguous U.S., Alaska, Canada, Labrador and New Foundland.Bill is survived by wife, Sue White; children- Brad (Carol) White, Stacy (Dallas) Benton; stepdaughters- Christy (Randy) Young and Cheryl McEntyre; grandchildren- Robert and Krystal White, and Stefene McKee; Cody, Collin (Hailey) Benton: great-grandchildren- Ava (Jaylen), Matthew and Samuel White, and Jet and Maverick McKee. Nephew Chris (Judy) Busch and family, niece Kitte Busch (Arnie) Gold and numerous cousins and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents: Theodore R. (Matilda Oberkrom) White; siblings Robert White and Geri White (Robert E.) Busch; wives Shirley Morton, Mary Martin White, and Kathy Niemi White.A devout Christian, Bill's faith, was reflected in his actions and words. He will be remembered as a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left this world better for his presence.Memorial donations may be made to Michael J.
