William “Bill” E. Caldwell, age 94, went to be with the Lord March 16, 2026. Bill was born to the late Herbet and Lucy (Fultz) Caldwell December 1, 1931 in Scioto County Ohio. Bill was married to Sylvia (Hagy) Caldwell who preceded him in death, October 16, 2018. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, James Caldwell, Joe Caldwell, Harvey Caldwell and sister, Garnet Caldwell.

Bill is survived by children, Terri (Gary) Parker, Cindy (Doug) Knecht, Samuel (Victoria) Caldwell; sister, Wanda Caldwell; grandchildren, Matt (Mary Beth) Parker, Adam (Tina) Parker, Travis Knecht, Shaun (Ashley) Knecht, Brandon (Ashlyn) Knecht, Emilee (Cody) Winzenread; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Maddyn, Eleanor, Violet, and RaeLynn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Bill was a longtime member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church and worked with the church throughout his time there. Bill was a member of the Marines from 1952-1954. He worked for 44 years and 10 months at Swan and went on to deliver medicine for the medicine shop for many years. Bill enjoyed camping trips in their RV, he was always finding something to do and kept himself busy.

The family will receive friends at Crawford County Memory Gardens, Friday, March 20th for a 2PM graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Gospel Lighthouse Church. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com.
