William D. "Bill" Pritchett

William D. "Bill" Pritchett, Jr., age 62, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born in Decatur to William D. Pritchett, Sr. and Faye Cates Pritchett, Bill grew up in the Decatur area and graduated from Shamrock High School in 1981. In 1986, he married Leslie Aldredge, and the two shared 39 years of marriage. In 1992, he founded his own HVAC business and remained self-employed for the rest of his life.

Bill found great joy in the outdoors, particularly hunting with friends across the country. He cherished his dogs and most of his cats, and he was deeply committed to his faith, serving as an usher and later on the Security Team at North Metro Church. A dedicated Mason for more than 40 years, he also loved spending time at the beach. Above all, Bill was a loyal friend who stayed in touch with many and was always ready to offer a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Faye Pritchett. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Leslie, his sister Carla Dowell (Ron), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
