William Charles Mullenix

William Charles Mullenix, known to all as Billy, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54 on March 12, 2026, at his home. Born on May 1, 1971, in Greenfield, he was the son of Eddy and Connie Patton Mullenix.

Billy felt most at home with the rumble of the open road and the quiet peace of the outdoors. He held a deep love for Harley Davidson motorcycles and cherished every opportunity to ride, embracing the sense of freedom it brought. He could often be found near the water, spending peaceful hours fishing and quietly appreciating the simple beauty of nature. In all things, Billy lived with a genuine spirit of freedom, adventure, and connection to the natural world.

He is survived by his mother, Connie; his siblings, Andrew “Andy” (Marlene) Mullenix of Aberdeen and Amy Mullenix of Hillsboro; his nephews, Scott Mullenix and Austin James Mullenix; his niece, Angel Campbell; his aunts and uncles, Linda (Roger) Phillips, Barb Fordyce, and Harry Mullenix; and special family friend Debbie Sellman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Byrda and Warren Patton and Henry and Geneva Mullenix, and his uncles, Hank Mullenix and John “Dick” Mullenix.
