He was born in Citronelle, AL, on September 15, 1953, to the late Clarence Knapp and Willie Gray Newburn.He was preceded in death by one son, Jessie Knapp, and survived by three children, Channing Ray Knapp (Michelle), William Clarence Knapp (Glenda), and Crystal Knapp; three sisters, Sissy Webb, Sandra Andrews, and Julie Whatley; and one brother, Richard Knapp; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
