It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Anthony Stafford of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Terry Robichaud Gentle; his grandparents, David, Frances Stafford, Joe and Helen Robichaud; his father-in-law Chuck Wicker; his uncles, Mark Stafford, David Burgess, Clarence Hylton and Mike Robichaud; his aunt Christi Hylton; and his cousins, Davy Burgess and Laila Serpe.

He is survived by: his children, Carley and Coltyn; his father William Wright "Bill" Stafford; his sister Katie Smith (Butch); and his stepfather Clif Gentle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Food and Fellowship.
