William Albert Goodman

William A. Goodman, age 87, of Zelienople, passed away on the morning of March 12, 2026, at his home.

Born in Albany, Georgia, he was the son of the late Orval M. and Marie Melchiorsen Goodman. William served his country as a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as an Operating Engineer with Union #68, specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration.

He cherished time spent at Sandy Hook Beach and enjoyed fishing, yet nothing brought him greater joy than being with his wife, children, and grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his two sons, William M. and David Lee Goodman.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Mary Maher Goodman; his son, Steven D. (Susan) Goodman; his sister, Shirley Nichols; six grandchildren, Breanne (Shaina), Brooke (Zack), Emilee (Rhett), Kathlene (Brady), Jack (Monica), and Jason; and eight great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. He will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
